Original equipment batery for Canon ST1
I purchased this battery, 'CANON KP-E5' as a backup for my camera. As of this evaluation I've not had need to supplement either the original or this extra battery. The reason is two-fold; 1) Haven't activated my camera, a Canon TS1, during any one learning session such I've required additional power over that supplied one Canon KP-E5 battery. 2) The capacity of the Canon LP-E5 battery is a good power source that hasn't needed to be supplemented.
In overall, this battery seems to provide the same amount of "battery life" as original one that comes with Canon. I only noticed that it takes a bit more time to recharge the flash when you shoot in drive mode.

I carry my camera with me everywhere, every day. I shoot with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xsi. I use the 18-55mm kit lens, the 50mm f/1.8 (my favorite), You can get Canon's excellent Rebel XSi 12.2-megapixel camera for $650. True, it comes with a crap short-zoom 18-55 lens, but that's still a good buy. The photo was taken with a Canon Rebel XSi. Everyone has a camera these days, whether it's a point-and-shoot, part of a cell phone, or a digital single lens Is the camera are the PC-Sync connection in the sync cable plug for an external lighting unit or should I buy the hot shoe adapter?

Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xsi PC-Sync connection?
It is a rare thing nowadays.
It does have that hot-shoe adapter.
Only one thing, have you checked the trigger voltage of an older, pre-flash DSLR...Have a Question or Comment?
