I bought this to protect my camera on a 6-day backpacking trip in the Paria River Canyon and Buckskin Gulch. Water can be as deep as 3-meters at times, so I wanted to keep my options open for photos in this spectacular area. The case was too difficult to mate with the camera and the plastic was too heavy to allow for adjustments on my Canon G-9. Bought this item to take to Cozumel snorkeling. On previous trips to Hawaii, we tried the cheap 35mm in a plastic box. You were limited to 24 or 36 pics, and had to wait for developing to see if anything turned out. This allowed you to download the pics and see them immediately.
